BookMyBai, a technology-driven domestic-help platform, is accelerating its growth as it expands its presence across India. The company reported revenue of ₹12 crore and profit of ₹3.6 crore in FY26, compared with revenue of ₹9 crore and profit of ₹2.2 crore in FY25. For FY27, the company is targeting revenue of ₹18 crore and a projected profit of ₹7 crore.

During the first half of FY27, BookMyBai recorded revenue of ₹7.5 crore and profit of ₹2.2 crore, reflecting continued business momentum.

Founded by Anupam Sinhal and Vickash Chowdhury, BookMyBai connects households with domestic-help professionals, including maids, cooks, nannies, babysitters and caregivers. The platform aims to bring greater convenience, choice and structure to a sector traditionally driven by word-of-mouth referrals and informal networks.

Scaling Supply to Unlock Growth

A key driver of BookMyBai’s growth has been its worker-onboarding model. The company currently operates across approximately 120 cities and towns and is onboarding close to one lakh workers every month. It estimates demand for approximately two lakh workers monthly.

The company believes that expanding its worker network will help more households find suitable domestic assistance while supporting its next phase of growth.

“India’s domestic-help sector is a large but largely fragmented market. When we started building BookMyBai, there was no established playbook to follow; we had to create our own. Today, with over a decade of experience and learnings, we believe we have reached an inflection point. Our focus is on scaling our worker network across India and building a sustainable, technology-led business,” said Anupam Sinhal, Co-Founder, BookMyBai.

Targeting ₹80 Crore Revenue in FY28

BookMyBai plans to onboard an additional 25 lakh workers in FY28, targeting ₹80 crore in net revenue. The company expects its growing worker network to support wider customer reach and strengthen its position in the domestic-help market.

The company is also evaluating a future entry into the instant domestic-help segment. It plans to monitor market adoption, pricing and unit economics before entering at scale, prioritising long-term business sustainability.

IPO Roadmap and Future Vision

As part of its long-term growth strategy, BookMyBai plans to initiate its IPO process in FY29, with a target listing in FY30, subject to business performance, market conditions and regulatory requirements.

The company aims to expand its reach, strengthen its technology-enabled services and contribute to the formalisation of India’s domestic-help sector.
