The Board of Directors of ESCP Business School, chaired by Philippe Houzé, has been informed by Léon Laulusa, Dean of the School, of his decision to step down from his position this summer in order to pursue a new professional opportunity.

Following this announcement, the Nominations and Compensation Committee has launched a selection process to identify the candidate best suited to build on the School’s momentum and lead its continued strategic development, under the supervision of the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors would like to commend Léon Laulusa for his dedication and leadership since taking the helm of ESCP Business School in 2023, as well as for his contribution to the School’s development and international reputation through the various academic and executive positions he has held since joining the institution in 1999.

Since his appointment as Dean of ESCP Business School in 2023, Léon Laulusa has notably spearheaded the development and rollout of the Bold & United strategic plan, including the launch of the School of Technology and the School of Governance, aimed at strengthening the School’s position as a European leader at the intersection of management, technology, and governance issues. Léon Laulusa will continue to carry out his responsibilities until his departure, ensuring a smooth transition in the best interests of the School, its students, faculty, and staff, in close coordination with the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
